1Acceptance of Terms & Apple Standard EULA

Welcome to Yulant ("we", "us", "our", or the "Application"), an AI-powered badminton video analytics, motion tracking, and tactical coaching platform developed by the Yulant engineering team.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Application via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Web Dashboard, you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (EULA) and Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.

If you download the Application from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that this agreement is concluded between you and Yulant only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services with respect to the Application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Application.

2On-Device AI Video Processing & "Ask Before Recording" Etiquette

A. On-Device Computer Vision Processing

Yulant employs real-time on-device computer vision to detect court lines, track 3D shuttlecock trajectories, and extract skeletal pose keypoints. Camera video frames are processed strictly in-memory on your local device. Raw video footage is never silently uploaded to cloud servers without your affirmative, explicit command (such as saving an export or syncing highlights).

B. "Ask Before Recording" Community & Opponent Consent Warranty

When you set up a camera or tripod to record on badminton courts:

  1. Prior Notice & Consent: You represent and warrant that you will notify your doubles partner, opponent, and court participants before starting a recording session, and obtain their consent to be recorded.
  2. Bystander Removal Policy: If an opponent, participant, or bystander requests that their appearance in a video or public highlight be removed, you must honor their request. Yulant provides a dedicated takedown channel via support@yulant.com for any third party wishing to request removal of non-consensual footage.
  3. Safe Tripod Placement: Tripods and phone mounts must be placed at a safe buffer distance behind the baseline or outside sideline boundaries to avoid creating trip hazards for adjacent courts.

3Automated Line Calling, Speed Metrics & Liability Disclaimer

  1. Recreational & Training Aid: All metrics provided by Yulant—including smash speed estimation, contact point height, footwork heatmaps, and simulated automated line-calling ("Hawk-Eye")—are designed strictly as recreational training aids and tactical reference tools.
  2. No Official Tournament Certification: Optical tracking performed via a single mobile camera may be affected by lighting, rolling shutter, extreme angles, or physical obstruction. Yulant does not replace official BWF-certified multi-camera electronic line-judging systems and makes no warranties regarding tournament-level arbitration precision.
  3. Physical Activity & Health Disclaimer: Badminton is a strenuous physical sport. You assume full responsibility for your physical readiness. Yulant is not a medical device or health diagnostic tool. Stop playing immediately and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or fatigue.

4Subscriptions, In-App Purchases & Auto-Renewal

A. Free & Pro Subscription Tiers

Yulant offers a Free tier with essential on-court analytics and paid auto-renewing subscriptions unlocking high-frame-rate tracking, cloud video archiving, and deep biomechanical insights.

B. Billing & Auto-Renewal (Apple App Store / Google Play / Stripe)

  1. Payment Authorization: Payment is charged to your Apple ID, Google Play, or Stripe account upon confirmation of purchase.
  2. 24-Hour Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  3. Account Management & Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, Google Play Store > Subscriptions, or via your Web Account Dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current active billing cycle.
  4. App Store Refunds: Refund requests for in-app purchases made through Apple must be submitted directly to Apple according to their App Store refund policies.

5Intellectual Property & User Video Ownership

  1. User Content Ownership: You retain 100% ownership and copyright over your original match recordings, exported highlight reels, and athletic performance logs.
  2. Platform License: You grant Yulant a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your uploaded videos and telemetry solely to deliver the Service to you.
  3. Anonymized Model Training: You agree that Yulant may use aggregated, fully de-identified geometric kinematic data (such as joint angle trajectories and shuttle flight coordinates, stripped of all personal identity) to refine and train neural network detection models.
  4. Yulant Proprietary Rights: The Yulant application, user interface designs, 7-DOF physics algorithms, logos, trademarks, and source code are the exclusive intellectual property of Yulant and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

6Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This EULA and Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of the operating entity, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or submitted to the competent courts of the operating entity's registered jurisdiction.
